This year, FIRST MOKS changed how this meet was run, seeing as it is now a league tournament and not a state qualifier. This year, the final alliances were put into a double elimination tournament, where alliances were put in a staggered bracket (4 alliances in the first round, two [like us] placed in round two). Teams that lost were put into a losers bracket, and then losing again knocked them out of the playoffs. The final match was between the winner of the losers bracket and the winner of the top bracket. The team to win had to have 3 wins total, meaning that the finalist alliance from the losers bracket had to win two finals matches in row while the top bracket finalist only had to win one.
