Inspiring the Future

Established in 2023, Team 23307 Zenith is a second year FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team. Our name, Zenith, reflects our hopes as a team to strive to reach the peak of our abilities. We are excited to inspire a passion for STEAM, robotics, and FIRST's guiding principles in others, as these things have been so influential and beneficial for every member of our team. Through unwavering dedication and commitment, we hope to continue growing and breaking new ground in robotics and in our service to our community. Driven by our passion, we're excited to learn and grow as a team!

What is FIRST?

FIRST is a global robotics community for ages 4-18, and is the World's Leading Youth-Serving Nonprofit Advancing STEAM Education. FIRST's mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership. FIRST does this while instilling their core values into all their members. These core values include discovery, innovation, impact, inclusion, teamwork, fun, gracious professionalism, and cooperation. FIRST was founded in 1989 by Dean Kamen, and the organization has emphasized the importance of self-confidence, communications, and leadership.

What is FTC?

FIRST Tech Challenge teams consists of up to 15 members grades 7-12. Teams are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format. While working with their robots they're also tasked with doing outreach in their community to spread FIRST and STEAM, fund-raise, and market their team. Guided by coaches and mentors, students develop STEAM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and working as a team.

This is my eleventh year in FIRST, and I do programming. In my spare time, I do 9 other extracurriculars.

This is my third year in FIRST, and I do programming. Outside of robotics, I participate in Speech and Debate.

This is my third year in FIRST, and I do mechanical. I'm also president of my FBLA chapter.

Lexie

This is my third year in FIRST, and I do marketing. When I'm not doing robotics, I'm dancing.

This is my sixth year in FIRST, and I manage the website. In my spare time, I'm reading.

Ellie

This is my second year in FIRST, and I work on marketing. I also listen to music a lot.

Yousif

This is my seventh year in FIRST, and I do mechanical. Outside of robotics, I work on my clothing business.

MohamMed

This is my seventh year in FIRST, and I'm on Marketing. I also do Debate and HOSA.

Mohammed

This is my first year in FIRST, and I'm an intern. Outside of robotics, I do Chess Club and HOSA.

This is my first year in FIRST. I'm an intern and outside of robotics I do sports.
